ARRIVAL OF THE TENNESSEE! 
FIFTEEN DAYS LATER FROM PANAMA!

The P.M.S. Company's steamer Tennessee, Lieut. G. M. Totten, commander, arrived in our harbor early yesterday morning from Panama. She brings U.S. Mails and 390 passengers.

Memoranda

We tender our thanks to our obliging friend Purser Isaacs, for his kindness in supplying us with the latest dates, and an abstract of the log of the Tennessee, from which we give as follows:

The Tennessee left Panama on the 1st inst., at 9 o'clock P.M. Arrived at Acapulco on the 8th, at 9 a.m., and sailed at 7 p.m. the same day. Arrived at San Diego on the 14th, at 6 a.m., and sailed at 8 a.m. Arrived at Monterey on the 16th, at 7 p.m., and sailed at 8; and arrived at San Francisco on the morning of the 17th, at 6 o'clock; making the entire passage, including detours and detentions in the landing and receiving of mails, etc., in 15 days and 7 hours -- or 13 days and 20 hours running time.

Left at Acapulco steamers Gold Hunter and Commodore Stockton; and at San Diego, steamerEudora.

When she left Panama the propeller Constitution was in port, to sail the same evening, with 250 passengers.

In speaking of the departure of the Tennessee and Constitution, the Herald of the 29th says:

The large number of passengers now in the city (about 400), and constantly arriving, will probably rnder it necessary to put up another steamer, in which case the Unicorn can be got ready at a moment's notice, or the Carolina, which was to leave San Franciscon on the 6th inst., may be here in time to return immediately.

A file of the Panama Herald is before us, but not one word is there respecting the Cuban Excitement, which seems to have died away almost entirely. The latest date -- to wit, the Herald of the 29th ult. -- speaks of the arrival of the Falcon, but states also that the mails were behind, and that it had heard of no passengers having arrived.
