The P.M.S.S. Co.'s steamer Golden City, F. R. Baby Commander, arrived from Panama on the morning of Sunday, February 11th. The following is the
Purser's Report
The P. M. S. S. Co.'s steamer Golden City, F. R. Baby commander, sailed from San Francisco January 10th. at 11:25 a. m with 319 passengers, 58 pkgs U. S. mails, 2010 pkgs mdse. and $983,926.13; January 16th. at 8:45 a.m.. arrived at Mansanillo, received passengers and $332,991; sailed same day at 1:35 p. m.; in port of Manzanillo. P. M. S. S. Co.'s steamer Sacramento arrived at Acapuloo January 17th at 3:03 p. a., and sailed game day at 7:56 p.m.; January 21st, at 2:15 p.m., passed and exchanged signals with the Company's steamer Golden Age.
Returning: Left Panama January 28th.at 8:45 p. m., with 319 passengers, 165 pkgs U. S. mails, and 7798 pkgs mdse.
In port of Panama, U. S. sloop-of-war St. Mary's and P. M. S. S. Co.'s steamer Uncle Sam; arrived at Acapulco February 3d, at 9:35 a.m., and sailed at 2:30 p.m. same day; in port of Acapulco, the U. S. steamer Saginaw, P. M. S. S. Co.'s steamer California, and French man-of-war; February 4th, at 10:30 p.m. passed and exchanged signals with the Company's steamer Sacramento, bound down.
