The steamship America, Captain Wakeman, arrived at this port yesterday, 31st ult. Following are her memoranda, passenger list, consignees, etc.
Memoranda
The North American Steamship Co.'s S.S. America, Edgar Wakeman, Commander, sailed from San Francisco April 27th, at noon, bound to San Juan del Sur; April 30th, at 8:30 P.M. passed steamship Golden Age, bound north; May 9th, at 10 P.M., arrived at San Juan del Sur; disembarked passengers and freight, coaled, received fresh suplies of provisions, water, etc., and sailed for San Francisco May 8th at 6 P.M., with passengers and freight, ex steamship Santiago de Cuba; 20th, at 7 A.M., saw steamship Guatamala, a barque and a brig at anchor off San Jose de Guatamala; 23d, at 3:30 A.M., passed the Company's steamship Moses Taylor, bound south; 24th, at 2 P.M., saw a steamer, supposed to be the Golden City, bound south; 31st, at 9 A.M. arrived at San Francisco, passengers and crew all well.
Left in port of San Juan, American barque Antioch and British ship Henry Pelham, each to sail May 23d for Callao.
Importations
From New York - 2 cs. medicines, 1 box labels, 2 cs. cloth, 8 cs. dry goods, 2 bales flour sacks, 9 cs. boots, 3 bbls, isinglass, 11 bales 2 bxs. 45 cs merchandise. San Juan del Sur - 781 bags coffee, 26 pkgs. limes.
